Montreal Wedding Videography - Hybrid Photo + Video Coverage
Affordable Montreal Wedding Videography
A Modern Alternative to Traditional Wedding Videos
For many couples, the idea of wedding videography sounds great in theory — until they start looking into what it actually involves.
A second crew.
Hours of footage.
A long, expensive film they may only watch once.
Traditional wedding videography absolutely has its place. But it isn’t how every couple wants their wedding remembered.
What Is Hybrid Wedding Videography?
In addition to our wedding photography services (which you can check out on the Wedding Portfolio page), we now offer the option of a hybrid video upgrade.
Traditionally, if you wanted to have video coverage of your wedding you would need to hire a separate wedding videographer. You’d then receive an edited wedding video that could be anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour long.
The problem is that, while most people would like to have some video coverage of their wedding, not everyone wants to spend as much as $3000 on an hour-long wedding video that they may not watch more than once.
It’s certainly not something that many of their friends and family will see. You can’t share such a long video on most social media sites, which is where most wedding photo and video sharing happens in today’s society.
Instead of producing a 45–90 minute documentary-style film, we create a carefully edited 3–5 minute highlight film that tells the story of your day in a way that feels natural, emotional, and easy to revisit and share.
It’s wedding videography that complements photography, rather than competing with it.
Our hybrid video service is designed for how couples watch video today.
How Our Hybrid Photo + Video Coverage Works
Our hybrid-video service works a little differently. The main wedding photographer shoots video in addition to the standard wedding photography coverage, and the end result is a 3 to 5-minute highlight film of your day in addition to the wedding photos.
This highlight film is easy to share online so you’ll have something that everyone will want to see. The cost is also much more affordable, with upgrade pricing starting at only $1000 with our basic wedding photography package. It’s an ideal option for couples who want photo and video coverage but prefer a more discreet presence.
Throughout the day, we move seamlessly between capturing still imagery and cinematic motion, focusing on moments as they naturally unfold.
There’s no staging.
No repeated setups.
No added pressure on your timeline.
Added bonus: there’s 1 less person following you around all day and telling you what to do!
The result is cohesive coverage where your photographs and film feel like they belong to the same story — because they do.
Our hybrid video solution is especially popular with modern couples who want to capture the emotion and motion of their day while still getting a full suite of timeless photographs.
Whether you’re planning an elegant downtown Montreal wedding or a rustic countryside celebration, we bring the same passion, creativity, and professionalism to every event.
How is this possible? Modern professional cameras can shoot both high-quality video and photos, and they are quite fast at switching back and forth between the two.
This advance in technology coupled with the wedding photographer’s skill and experience makes it possible for one person to shoot both photo and video.
Who This Is Perfect For
Couples who don’t want a second crew
Intimate weddings
Budget-conscious luxury
Social-media-friendly storytelling
If you’ve never been drawn to the idea of a full-length wedding movie, this approach was designed with you in mind.
Filming Style: Natural, Observational, and Unscripted
Our approach to videography mirrors how we photograph weddings — quietly observing rather than directing.
We focus on:
Real interactions instead of posed scenes
Movement, light, and atmosphere
The in-between moments that define the experience of the day
Letting events unfold without interruption
This allows your wedding to remain a celebration, not a production set.

Why Many Couples Are Choosing Highlight Films Over Full-Length Videos
We’ve heard the same feedback from many couples when they talk about the possibility of traditional video:
They want something meaningful — but not overwhelming.
They want motion, emotion, and sound — but not hours of footage.
They want to actually revisit their wedding, not archive it.
A cinematic highlight film allows you to:
Relive the atmosphere of the day in minutes, not hours
Share your wedding easily with friends and family
Preserve real moments without turning the day into a production
Keep coverage simple, intentional, and unobtrusive
This approach works especially well for couples planning intimate weddings, elegant celebrations, or venue-focused events in Montreal and Ottawa.
What Your Wedding Film Includes
Every hybrid videography collection includes:
A professionally edited 3–5 minute cinematic highlight film
Carefully-selected moments that reflect the tone and pace of your day
A visual style that matches the documentary approach of your photography
Delivery in a format that’s easy to watch, share, and preserve
Our goal isn’t to recreate your wedding minute-by-minute.
It’s to create something that brings you back to how it felt.
Serving Weddings in Montreal and Beyond
We provide hybrid wedding photography and videography coverage throughout Montreal, Ottawa, and surrounding regions.
Whether your celebration takes place in an urban venue downtown, a private garden setting in Rigaud, or a historic location in Old Montreal, our goal remains the same: to document the environment and energy of the day as it naturally exists.
Because our approach is intentionally streamlined, it adapts easily to a wide range of venues and wedding styles without changing the feel of the coverage.
What’s All This Going to Cost Me?
Great question! Because I knew you’d ask, I went ahead and prepared all that information for you on the Pricing page.

Hybrid Videography vs. Traditional Wedding Videography
Neither approach is “better.”
They simply serve different kinds of couples.
We specialize in the latter.
A Different Way to Remember Your Wedding
Wedding videography doesn’t have to mean a large production or a film you rarely revisit.
It can be simple.
Intentional.
True to how the day actually felt.
If that resonates with you, hybrid wedding coverage may be exactly what you’re looking for.
